Problem solving:
For product development mainly we have to follow the software life cycle because if we didn’t concentrate on the problem solving we may get the result or may not get. Mostly we will not get the perfect product at their end of cycle.
• Analysis: In this stage we have to analyze the problem and what are the requirements of the product.
• Design: in the design phase we mention the algorithms and class diagrams of the entire product. This is very crucial because based on this design only our product efficiency will be decided.
• Coding: the coding phase we are implementing our application what we designed in the design phase. In this phase develop the user interface for the end user.
• Testing: the testing phase we are using the some testing techniques. Here we are testing the product is it have any bugs? And is it working perfect or not? Also debugging plays crucial role, because when we are debug it only we can know whether it working proper or not.
• Deployment: After the testing phase the product release into market and take the feedback from the customer if the customer not satisfied with that product we have to rectify the errors and rebuild the product up to satisfy the customer needs.
Problem :
Migration tool:
In the migration tool we have converted the mails from lotus notes format to outlook and vice versa. The outlook mails are stored in the PST file. And the lotus notes mails are stored in the NSF file. The outlook is the product of Microsoft they maintain PST files for storing the mails. The lotus notes is the product of IBM in this the mails are stored in NSF file. The main role of these products is those will store the mails in the system and we can get the mails in offline also. The goal of migration tool is we have to store the mails in portable drive and travel with us. We can use any where the migration will do the such a work that will store the mails in database and convert from lotus notes mails to outlook mails and vice versa. For doing such a kind of application we followed some procedure like bellow.
Analysis:
In the analysis we carefully observed what the things in the outlook and what the things in lotus notes existed. We found the common features of both. We pick up some scenarios based on the features and working procedure of lotus notes and outlook.
• When we create the subfolders in lotus notes it’s not come into lotus notes folder it will come to folder option we can’t understand visually which is belongs to which one. Where as in outlook it will come into subfolder of that main folder.
• When we are replicating the mails in lotus notes it appears bottom of the mails list. Whereas this is completely different in outlook that is it appears new mails at the top of the list.
I did work on database when we design this product. I understood what are the functions and classes they are used in implementation of reading mails from lotus notes and outlook. Once they finished retrieving the mail from the outlook and lotus notes, based on that we designed classes for storing this mails into data base.
Design:
In the design phase we are collecting the mails information from outlook and lotus notes. We found some typical properties inside outlook and lotus notes. Based on this we designed common classes for storing this mails into data base. For this we used SQLITE as a data base. We chooses SQLITE because we giving solution for portable users. That means we need portable data base. This applicable to SQLITE. We can store the mails by using different types of data structures. Data structures plays crucial role because we have raw of data from outlook and lotus notes, we organized these data in a common format. In that we are maintain classes and methods for representing these kinds of mails in common format. We design one complete cycle for the product.
Coding:
We have already classes for reading the mails from outlook and lotus notes. From that we designed a common data structure to represent the mails. Once we have representation we stored this mails into SQLITE data base. For this we designed our own classes to store data. The methods are used in the program and read the data from the mail properties. These reading data stored in the database.
Testing:
In the testing phase I check the program is it store the data in the correct format or not when the values are stored in the database.

when i am studying in college. i feel that any thing we can do with computer language. if i learn one language i can able to get a job in any company and that is enough. but i found that in fresh brains howmuch enough thelanguage in product development. the product development we have to analysis first,design and then languages are come into picture. the language is not important in product because we can integrate the languages also. the language selection is based on the product only. i am interested to learn about the oops concepts only because these are the basic things when we go to any language either it may be java,.net and vc++.
i decided that nothing in different languages the basic concept is same. the difference is some languages are used in differnt ways the purpose and operation is same.

c++::
before:i have the knowledge of oops concepts upto definition level only.i don't have knowledge on datasructure
after:i did work on those concepts and face some problems when apply those things. i found the importance of the data structure in maintaining database and processing the data in the system.the data structure is the key point of every application we con't do any thing with out data structure.

software engineering:
Before:i have the knowledge on software engineering and i found the importance of software engineering in my college level from my one of the faculty. but i didn't concentrate on those concepts.
After: when i attend this sesion they gave the importance for the analysis phase only. because the analysis is the key role for the software industry when start the product. we have to analyse the scope of that product from all sides. we completed software life cycle so i found the importance.

Operating system:
Before: i learn some concepts in operating system in my college level also. but i didn't find the exact meaning what is the operating system do and how it will manage all the things with single processor.
After:i found the working process of operating system and how they are concentrate on memory management and process management. thesethings are going very crucial role in processing the system. i have to improve the my knowledge based on operating system and i will concentrate some more operating systems like window and linux.

Data structures:
Before:i learn the concepts before came to here . i dont know the data structure importance in real environment.
After:i found every thing will be managed by the data structure only. all the processes in operating system use data structure only. these are usefulin storing hte data in database and giving the essential result for the problem. every body should learn the data structure concepts in the industry. i found how the searching and sort the data. what is the need of difffernt algorithms in the project point of view.

Hi guys now i am doing 4^th B.tech. but actually one month back i came to Bangalore.we are 5 people are came from our college.
The fresh brains company is working on one product that is very crazy . But i don't know the importance of subject up to came to here. In college level we know the basics but i don't know where these are implemented in real time environment. Now this is the very good opportunity for me to know the value of subject.
I learn lot of new things regarding to subjects.I think fresh brains company is having one excellent thought that groom the students encourage their ideas and give the knowledge based on industry point of view. I think it will helpful for the students at Any level.If we do work on some thing and pick up some innovative ideas it will helpful for us.
They will give good guidelines for the subject and prove their ideas with practical knowledge also.They are confident on technology.They are very hard working guys. I really wondered their work. I learn some new things in computer subjects also i found the importance of that subjects in real time what standard i have and how much it enough for the industry. Surely i can tell not only me and all students are not learn the things in depth in industry point of view that is the reason most of the people not succeed to achieve their goals in their life.If i miss this opportunity may be i am also one of the looser. I really enjoy the things when learn the things what we miss in college life.

They have the confident and they will try to fill up that much of confident in students also. i really appreciate for this. I face some problems to spent in office also bcz i enjoy the life in college i didn't take serious about life.I learn the importance of discussion and documentation. from now onwards i document the any thing when i found new things bcz i face lot of problems here when someone asking the question. We unable to remember all the things in life so documentation is important. I found how teamwork doing and discussing with others.

Surely i will continue my communication with fresh-brains if they accept me.I have the confident now i can do any problem without depending on others. I found some thing like don't depend on others try our self and improve our knowledge. But in that we face some problems at initial position bcz they are the mentors and i behave like student but they don't want to tell the answers when i ask the questions.
we discussed with those guys on evening what we did in whole day and they are correlate with real life things. I learn what is the importance of software life cycle and importance of languages in developing the projects.The fb guys are well knowledge people they are 8 members team.They are very help us in learning subjects. they are talking with us very friendly even their superiors also talk very close with us. i wish to continue this in future also
i really thankful to all of fresh brains team and adi for giving this wonderful opportunity for us. i really happy for i am the member in your first batch trained people. i will continue in future..........
